PTU Tutorial - Brianna's Wistful Heart

PTU scrapkit Hoot Hoot by P-O Concept.

*Lets Get Started*
File - New - New Canvas 650x650
Selections - Select All.
Copy PO-hopp9 - Paste - Paste Into Selection.
Selections - Select None.

Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image.
Find your mask in the drop down box - click OK.
Layers - Merge - Merge Group.
*
Copy PO-ho49 - Paste - Paste As New Layer.
Magic Wand Tool - click inside the frame.
Selections - Modify - Expand by 5.
Layers - New Raster Layer.
Copy PO-hopp9 - Paste - Paste Into Selection.
Layers - Arrange - Move Down.

Copy your tube - Paste - Paste As New Layer.
(If you are using the same tube as me I mirrored it)
Place so that what you like is showing inside the frame.
Selections - Invert - Press the small delete key on your keyboard.
Change the blend mode of the tube to Luminance(Legacy)

Copy PO-ho33 - Paste - Paste As New layer.
Move down a bit.
Press the small delete key on the keyboard.
Selections - Select None.
Layers - Merge - Merge Visible.

Open your tube.
Layers - Duplicate - Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur 2.
Change the blend mode of this layer to screen - Lower the opacity to 50%.
Layers - Merge - Merge Visible.

Copy your tube - Paste - Paste As New Layer.
Place to the left of the frame
(I resized by 40%.)

Copy PO-ho38 - Paste - Paste As New Layer.
Move to the left of frame.
Layers - Arrange - Move Down.

Copy PO-ho63 - Paste - Paste As New Layer.
Image - Resize 70% - move to the right a small bit.
(see tag for placement)

Add your copyright and name.
Layers - Merge - Merge Visible.
Resize to your liking - save as png.

Layers - Arrange - Move Down.

Eraser Tool - Remove any of the tube outside the bottom of the frame.

Copy PO-su47 - Paste - Paste As New Layer.
Image - Resize 80%.
Layers - Duplicate - Image - Mirror.
Layers - Merge - Merge Down.

Copy PO-su55 - Paste - Paste As New Layer.
Image - Resize 40%
Layers - Duplicate - Duplicate x3 - place around the frame on the leaves.

Move tube so that what you like is showing inside the frame.
Press the small delete key.
Selections - Select None.
Layers - Duplicate - Image Mirror.

Layers - Merge - Merge Down.
(Both close up tube layers should be on one layer now)
Change the blend mode of this layer to Luminance Legacy.
Layers - Duplicate.
Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur 2.
Change the blend mode to overlay - lower the opacity to 70%.

Close off the frame layer.
Layers - Merge - Merge Visible.
Effects - Texture Effects - Blinds

Open up the frame layer again.
Copy PO-da34 - Paste - Paste As New Layer
Image - Resize 50%
Move to the left side of the frame.
Layers - Duplicate - Image - Mirror.
Layers - Merge - Merge Down.
Layer - Duplicate - Change the Blend Mode to Multiply.

Move to your frame Layer.
Copy your tube - Paste - Paste As New Layer.
Place where you think it looks best.

File - New - New Canvas 650x650
Selections - Select All.
Copy PO-stpp5 - Paste - Paste Into Selection.
Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image.
Layers - Merge - Merge Group.

Copy PO-st30 - Paste - Paste As New Layer.
Image - Resize 90%
*
Magic Wand - click inside the frame.
Selections - Modify - Expand by 25.
Copy PO-stpp5 - Paste - Paste As New Layer.
Selections - Promote Selection to Layer.
Layers - Arrange - Move Down.

Open the tube your going to use.
SHIFT + D to duplicate it and close off the original.
Layers - Duplicate.
On the original layer
Adjust - Hue and Saturation - Colorize.
On the duplicate layer
Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur 2.
Change the Blend Mode to overlay.
Lower the Opacity to 70%
Layers - Merge - Merge Visible.

Copy your tube - Paste - Paste As New Layer on your canvas.
(I resized my tube by 70%)
Move tube where you think it looks best.
Layers - Promote Selection to Layer.
Selections - Select None.
Layers - Arrange - Move Down.
Make sure you are on your full layer tube now.
Layers - Arrange - Move Up.
Eraser Tool - erase any of the tube outside the bottom of the frame.

Copy PO-st18 - Paste - Paste As New Layer.
Image - Resize 90%
(See my tag for placement)
Use the Eraser Tool to remove some of the chain showing over top of frame.

Copy PO-st15 - Paste - Paste As New Layer.
Image - Resize 40%.

Add your name and copyright,
Save as png.
